Just before the curtain falls on this years ESWC, we caught PGS Gaming.

Tell us a bit about the game?
For a start we played train. We were confident we could win, because we started on the CT side. We won the pistol round as T.
On nuke we don’t know what to say; we lost to fnatic in the semi finals on nuke. We were still sure that we could go all the way. NoA just played amazingly.  On Inferno we were 100 % focused and just played our game.

What is your impression on set two?
It was a tight match, but NoA won all the close rounds. They just played amazing.

Can you attach a note to some of the players?
LUq is the MVP. He kept his high standards along the entire game. Neo’s 1 on 3 was amazing. Tazz wasn’t the best player, but after nuke he came back and killed everything.

What is your next step?
We go home to Poland and leave for GameGune in a week. After that we are going to attend the WCG.

The more you win, the more teams takes time to prepare for the encounter. How will you deal with that?
It doesn’t matter who we play, we just play our game. It’s not about anti strats. If we stay confident and focused we can do it anyway.

Poland dominated ESWC. PGS Gaming in CS and av3k in Quake; why?
It’s because we have the best internet connection in world! No, it’s about dedication. It’s about practicing, talent and luck. With the right sponsor you can come far.

Why were there so many pauses in the game?
I don’t know... but I think there were some problems with the computers and with the binds. It was a tough match and we needed pauses once in a while.

You have been performing constant for a long period of time now. Is PGS the new SK 2003?
I think that after today we have some kind of domination. But there are lots of strong teams. fnatic took a map away from us today. NoA did it in the final. I don’t hinkt there will be one dominant team again. The game has changed too much.

What do your fans mean to you? Does it affect your game?
Well, first of all we really appreciate all our fans. It was amazing. For the support for NoA, I think that it was because they were the underdogs.

How do you prepare for the title as big as this?
tWe practiced for 2 weeks in Sweden. Lots of hard matches. We did lots of tactics and tested them online and versus MiBR. It is best to boot camp in Sweden so we can play on LAN and online with out any problems.

After you lost the second map, did you find it hard to keep your self focus on the last map?
I don’t think so. I think we were pretty confident that we could win on inferno. We lost to fnatic before on nuke so we knew we might lose.

Was the pressure during overtime higher and how did it affect you?
We made a lot of mistakes. The pressure wasn’t that bad, because we knew we had another map. We had some bad communication. After the tie we didn’t have any pressure, because we knew all we had to do was to sort the communication problems.
